Δημήτρης Βλάσσης

Ο Δημήτρης Βλάσσης γεννήθηκε στον Πειραιά το 1946, απεφοίτησε από το Ε.Μ.Π. το 1969 και έκτοτε εργάζεται ως ελεύθερος επαγγελματίας.

Ασχολήθηκε με την Τεχνική Εκπαίδευση ως καθηγητής του Αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδίου. Συμμετέχει ενργά στην προβολή και την προβληματική της αρχιτεκτονικής και της τέχνης , γενικότερα, με ομιλίες, διαλέξεις , άρθρα κλπ και με τα βιβλία του Σημειώματα στη δομή του σημερινού σπιτιού, Δημήτρης Βλάσσης : Αρχιτεκτονική , Design , Γλυπτική ,Θέατρο και τη μελέτη του Η Σκηνοθεσία της αρχιτεκτονικής. Έχει έντονη παρουσία στη γλυπτική με ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα ,την Ιταλία ,τη Γαλλία ,τη Βρετανία και την Πολωνία.Παράλληλα ασχολείται με το θέατρο ως σκηνοθέτης,σκηνογράφος, συγγραφέας και με την λογοτεχνία.

Dimitris Vlassis was born in Piraeus in 1946. He graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1969 and since then has been working freelance. He was involved in Technical Education as a professor of architectural design. He is actively involved in promoting and deliberating on architecture and art in general, through talks, lectures, articles, etc, and through his books Notes on the Structure of the Contemporary House, Dimitris Vlassis: Architecture, Design, Sculpture, Theatre and his study Directing Architecture. He is a prominent sculptor presenting his works in solo and group exhibitions in Greece, Italy, France, Great Britain, and Poland. At the same time he is also involved in the theatre as a director, a stage designer, a writer, and in literature.
